Harold Lancaster was the husband of Margaret Lancaster and lived in Northallerton.

On the outbreak of war he joined the 6th Battalion of the Green Howards. He landed at Normandy on D-Day where he was seriously wounded. He returned to England but died of his injuries, aged 30, on the 6th October 1944.

Harold Lancaster lies in a Commonwealth War Grave in Northallerton Cemetery.
